I'm looking for 3 fics.

1. Post war and Harry goes looking for Snape. He finds him, I believe, at Spinner's End. Harry ends up staying with Snape for a while and they go to the grocery store using polyjuice. Then they come home and eat ice cream. I know that's a whole lot to go on huh? :)
2. Sev and Poppy becomes Harry's 'guardians' and nobody knows. They take Harry to Italy where he's hit on by some old guy thinking that he's a boy prostitute. I think that Poppy and Minerva are mates and haven't told Dumbledore because he would have gotten pissed and Harry and Sev haven't told him they're in a relationship.
3. I'm not sure about this one. All I remember is that Fred & George throw Harry a birthday party for his 16 or 17th b-day. They hold it at The Burrow. At Midnight a stripper comes in, strips, gives Harry his first kiss. Harry gets upset  because it was supposed to be Sev who gave him his first kiss and Draco, who's friendly with all of 'em, give Harry a kiss to forget the stripper's kiss. Then Sev comes in and gives Harry a kiss, etc.

Okay, so... the Husbandly One came home from work early today, because tomorrow (July 4th), is a national holiday.

THO coming home early always gets Auntie randy.

The kids and I were watching our DVD of "The Incredibles", and he sat down to join us, and we watched, and chatted, and as soon as it was over, I decided to go to the bedroom to check email and decide what to do with my er... extra energy until such time as the kids were, say, playing at a neighbors, or... otherwise occupied.

After a while, THO came into the bedroom to chat, and I was showing him some funny things I had found, and we were talking, and he laid back on the bed to "rest" his eyes, and I suddenly realized... the kids were occupied. Miss Priss was in her room, drawing while listening to music, while the Impossible Son was playing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on his computer.

And I couldn't stand it anymore. About this point, THO sat up and started asking me about a party we are going to tomorrow, that I am expected to bake an apple pie for, and what kind of apples did I need, and suddenly found himself with a lapful of very amorous, very demanding wife.

It was wonderful!!!

I pushed him down on the bed, latched onto his mouth, kissing, we were rubbing most enthusiastically together, I could feel how much he was enjoying this, and somewhere in my lust-fogged brain, I was thinking, maybe we should close the door when I heard it.

Neither of us was wearing velcro.

We both froze and slowly turned our heads to see the Impossible Son standing by THO's closet, dressed in his Dash Impossible costume, both hands clamped firmly over his eyes. You could practically HEAR him screaming frantically inside his head, "Must bleach brain! Must bleach brain!!"

For one wild nano-second, I was horrified. Then my sense of the ridiculous hit me, and I burst out into hearty laughter, followed by the Husbandly One, and we rolled apart on the bed in tears, gripping our sides, because really, Mr. Manzie's expression when he peeked out tentatively from between his fingers was... hilarious, a perfect mix of oh-no- are-they-still-doing-it, curiosity, and disgust. You know, like, "Ew, blech,kissing!!"

"Are you done now?" he said in a resigned voice.

That sent us right back into helpless laughter.

"What were you guys doing anyway?" he said, walking slowly to the bed. "Kissing??"

"Yes," said THO. "It's something grownups do when they love each other, and they're feeling happy and silly."

"Yes," I said, trying not to fall apart again. "Very silly. It's for growing closer."

"Oh!" he said, nodding wisely. "Growing closer is good."

"Yes, very good!" THO said, and Mr. Manzie was completely happy with that.

Next time Auntie is feeling amorous and randy, however, she will remember to close and lock the door!!

Oh how nice, he looks almost old enough for me now *G*

So, seeing the doctor on Monday went pretty well. She prescribed some muscle relaxants, and is referring me to orthopaedics for my back, she also referred me to physical therapy for my back...so I should be able to talk to them about my back when I see them about my shoulder on 17th of July. Okay, now for the amusing part...she suggested I consider a breast reduction. I knew someone was going to go there eventually. LOL! The thing is, I think I might actually go see a surgeon about it, my insurance will cover it because it's not for cosmetic reasons. Anyway...I'm considering it. Okay...and giggling about it a lot, just cos I'm me. ;)

Oh and my GP says the neurologist is full of shit, and there is no way in hell there is nothing wrong with me, nor is losing weight going to make it better. She says to demand a consult with a different neurologist. I plan to call them on Monday and demand said second opinion. I have to admit, it made me feel a shit-load better to hear her say that! She still says she thinks I have MS. All I can say is vindication feels pretty good, and remind me I do have her in my corner if things head towards shitty again!

So, my back does feel a little better since I started the muscle relaxants. It still hurts, but not as much. I'll take what I can get!! My toe seems to be healing, as does the arm I bruised the shit out of. So...these are all good things.

I'm having a Fourth of July picnic lunch with Gina and Marcos tomorrow afternoon. I don't think I'll be doing anything tomorrow night. This will be the first time in my life I won't be seeing some kind of fireworks show. That makes me sad, but I suppose I'll get over it. I can't do a bloody thing about it, so I kind of have to get over it. *sigh*

I'm just killing time until my home health aide gets here. She just called to say she's running late. We need to run some errands. I have some things I need to get at the grocery store, and I have a bunch of overdue stuff from the library. Ooops. ;)

I'm gonna go find something to snack on...grocery shopping while hungry is never a good idea. ;)

I'm looking for anorexia Snarry. Either one can have the disorder, though I prefer it to be Severus.

I have been at work doing nothing for about an hour and in less than 15 minutes I am going to jet, and get the hell away from my dad and go home! yay! I want to go back to school so bad because my mom annoys me, my dad i want to kill and I just want to be as far away from them as possible. The only bearable part of this summer is my brother. And geting my art project worked on but even that is at a bit of a stand still at the moment. Oh well, work till end of july then babysit for two weeks, should bring in a good bit of cash, all of which will just go right back to the school. *sighs* I work and work and they take and take yet then want more and I want nothing to do with them. Anyways. I will be glad to be in a happy environment when I go back to school, even with amanda I will still be happy cause I’ll have all my freinds there and it will be a wonderful year cause I will get to teach! WOOT! anyways. I still need to think of if I should actualy get amanda a gift even though I dont like her much. humm... Let the gift making begin! well buying in some cases.

You know you are big when someone accuses you of single-handedly destroying comic art.

People can be so narrow-minded sometimes.

Frank Santoro, whom I have never heard before, blogged this:

It’s not just Ross, it’s this culture of photo-referencing in comics that grinds my gears. It’s true, I hate Ross’s work. He’s got great technical ability, but big deal. Why is copying the nuances of a photograph such an achievement? That’s not drawing! He’s the worst example for a young artist to have, the worst role model. No one has done more harm to the form than Ross. It’s not comics he makes. It’s fumetti. There are no real panel-to-panel transitions as there are in “pure cartooning”; he’s just putting photograph next to photograph in a way that some find pleasing. But it’s not comics.

Two instances that made my eyebrows hit my hairline. [1] That’s not drawing. [2] it’s not comics.

Who is he to judge? Is the definition of comic/drawing so narrowed that it must be confined to handful of ways to do it? Do you want to know how many time my eyes roll heavenward when I heard ‘That’s not art!‘

I’m not a fan of Alex Ross, I’m also not a fan of hyper-realistic style, but you know what? I don’t go around accusing any style I don’t like as ‘not comic!’ There’s something for everyone, and there’s certainly enough people that enjoy this style. Why would their opinion matter any less than yours?

You know what I hate? I hate stupid 5 minutes chicken scratch that people passing it off as ‘indie’ or ‘artsy’ comic, What an insult to other artists who spent hours over their pages. But yeah, that’s comics for you, should I go running around screaming ‘That’s NOT COMICS!!!!’?

Alright,I'm almost positive this was Snarry fic, but it could have been Harry/Draco, so I apologize in advance if it is. I only remember one scene. Petunia was at a meeting or something for some sort of garden club(I think?). And she had been really popular there, but then she started making mistakes or something, and they shunned her, and made her do the jobs no one wanted. I think someone had thrown up in the bathroom and she had to clean it up. I'm pretty sure this all was a result of Severus getting revenge on the Dursleys for the way they treated Harry, and I'm not positive, but I think perhaps that wht happened to Petunia ended up being something she had dreamed, or been made to dream. Yeah, so if anyone knows this fic, help!

 OK. I'm thinking of a story I read quite a while ago. I do not know the title or author, but I am pretty sure it is Snarry. 

Anyway, in it, Harry is in pain due to his connection with Voldemort and the only way to relieve the pain is for Harry to have physical cpntact with another person. I remember that all of the Gryffindors take turns doing stuff like holding his hand or touching his arms or legs. Snape notices and offers Harry physical contact of a more intimate sort...

Does this ring any bells with anyone?
