I know this a very long-shot, but does anyone happen to have a copy of the book Crucifix Lane by Kate Mosse (who also wrote Labyrinth and Sepulchere), not Kate Moss the model, LOL!

I've found some second-hand copies, but the cheapest I discovered was an uncorrected proof at abebooks for £45 (what the seller is doing with an uncorrected proof I don't know!)

I don't want a collector's item or anything like that, I'd just like to read the story for a reasonable price and £45 seems a bit steep for a paperback book, even for me ;)

I've had it on my wishist for a while at the bookswapping site and no one there has a copy. Also tried the library, no joy there either.

Any suggestions?

take care,
Annette

LOL, I had a brief "yeah!" moment, then realised it was Labyrinth (which I've already got, LOL!)

This was one of her earlier ones, it must be out of print now, and there's not even a mention of it on her own website. Thanks for trying though :)

I was checking the online catalogue for my local library. They have Eskimo Kissing, which is earlier, but not Crucifix Lane.

Our library had labyrinth, sepulchere and that one as well, but no crucifix lane. I'll give ebay a try, someone might have listed it.

Yep, been to the abebooks link from book depository, that's where I found the £45 one. Thanks anyway :)

Thanks, if you don't mind asking around for me that would be great :)

I tried bigwords, the cheapest there was 116 dollars excluding delivery. Weird that it is so expensive, it's not even a first edition or signed copy or anything like that.
